La Liga: Mbappe Misses Another Penalty As Real Madrid Lose 2-1 To Athletic Bilbao
Athletic Bilbao beat Real Madrid 2-1 as Kylian Mbappe missed a second penalty in a week’s time as the La Liga champions fell short at the San Mames Barria in Bilbao. Bilbao opened the scoring, thanks to Alex Berenguer’s 53rd minute strike. However, Madrid dragged themselves back into the game as Jude Bellingham scored in the 78th minute. Two minutes after the travelling Madrid equalised, Bilbao took the lead through Gorka Guruzeta and held it to take all three points.
