Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava Release Date Postponed To Next Year; Averts Clash With Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule
Chhaava was earlier slated to hit the screens on December 6 with Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule
Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday evening. He tweeted, “VICKY KAUSHAL - RASHMIKA - AKSHAYE KHANNA: 'CHHAAVA' NEW RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT... #Chhaava is now set for a theatrical release on 14 Feb 2025... The release date holds special significance since it coincides with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 19 Feb 2025.”
Chhaava's teaser was unveiled in August and the release date was also locked. It was to clash with Pushpa 2 which is creating a lot of buzz ahead of its release on December 5. Releasing Chhaava with Pushpa 2 would have been a huge loss for the makers given Pushpa 2's craze. So, averting the clash was a good option for Chhaava.
