Israel's military said it has carried out 480 attacks on Syria in the past 48 hours, especially since the fall of the Assad regime. Despite UN protests Israel has occupied the buffer zones that separate the two countries.
Amid the escalated tensions, Syria has now started to reopen.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made history by becoming the first serving PM to take the witness stand as a defendant in a criminal case.
On Tuesday, the Israeli leader took the stand in the three corruption cases filed against him. As he took the stand, Netanyahu denied all the charges against him.
His lawyer, Amit Hadad described the charges as a witch-hunt laid out by the opposition. He added that the prosecutors in the case were "not investigating a case, but were pursuing a man".
Netanyahu's trial comes as Israel continues to be at war with Palestinian militant group Hamas, its bombardment of Gaza Strip and West Bank and attacks in Lebanon and Syria.
The Israeli leader has been accused of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
As per the United Nations, humanitarian aid for Northern Gaza has remained blocked for the last two months. Based on the data released by the UN, with no aid, around 65,000 and 75,000 Palestinians have been left without access to food, water, electricity or healthcare.
Meanwhile, efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza are underway. As per the White House, more senior aides have been dispatched to the Middle East to try and seal the deal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
US Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer said there is increased energy towards a ceasefire deal for Gaza, especially after the deal between Israel and Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
