Thomas And Uber Cup Final: China Women's Team Defeats Indonesia 3-0 To Win 16th Title - In Pics
China continued on its Uber Cup supremacy winning a record-extending 16th title as it went past Indonesia 3-0 in a one-sided final. Olympic champion Chen Yu Fei opened the proceedings for China on a high note by defeating Gregoria Mariska Tunjung 21-7, 21-16. The top-ranked pair of Chen Qing Chen and Jia Yi Fan then got another one-sided win against Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Ribka Sugiarto 21-11, 21-8 as China earned a 2-0 lead. The third match was the closest Indonesia could come to extend the final but Ester Nurumi went down against He Bing Jiao 10-21, 21-15, 21-17 in a close game to hand China a 3-0 win.
