A rampaging India will have to overcome a challenge from Malaysia in the semi-final of men's Junior Asia Cup if they want to qualify for their seventh final in last editions of the tournament. (More Hockey News)

Two-time defending champions India have been the most impressive team in the tournament so far. They did not just win all four of their matches in Pool A but also won three of them in a dominating fashion. The young Indian colts opened their campaign with an 11-0 win over Thailand before winning a close game against Japan. India then demolished the Chinese Taipei and South Korean defence to end up with a Goal Difference of +35.

Malaysia needed to avoid a defeat by a very large margin in their last Pool B game against Pakistan. They were defeated 4-1 by Pakistan but managed to go through to the semifinals. India will be a tough opponent for the Malaysians and they will have to come up with their best game to compete.
