The women's team, men's team and the under-19 men's team all three were handed drubbings to make it a triple whammy for Indian cricket fans on Sunday.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led women's side was beaten by Australia in Brisbane by 122 runs in second ODI. The loss meant that India lost the three -match ODI series even before the last match. Further down in South Australia, the men's team was decimated by their Australian counterparts by 10 wickets in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. At the same time, the Indian U-19 team also lost the final of the U-19 Asia Cup 2024 against Bangladesh by 59 runs in Dubai.

India cricket December Schedule
Men: Border-Gavaskar 3rd Test from December 14, 4th (boxing day) Test from December 26.
Women: Harmanpreet Kaur and Co will be back home after third ODI against Australia (Dec 11). They will then take on visiting West Indies Women for a white ball series (3 odis, 3 t20is).
Age group teams will not be in any further action this year.
Domestic action continues with the knock out rounds of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the beginning of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (from Dec 21).
