Brandon McMullen|POTM
"It was tough out there, good to get the win for the team. It was quite a short boundary with the breeze, we discussed it as a group as a key element and it paid off., Not sure where it came from, I played hockey as a kid and I think it helped me play that shot. Main priority was to win the game but at the drinks break, we decided to have a go at the net run-rate. Very confident, we are confident going into the Australia game, we need to stay level-headed and give our best."
Richie Berrington |Scotland Skipper
"Really pleased, important to get the win in a tough game. [Oman fast start] Important on this wicket to work out how to bowl, thought we brought it back well towards the back end. We didn't have a score in mind. It was more about working out the lengths to bowl. One side was going to be hard to defend, but thought we did that really well. Really happy with the score we had to chase. It was important to get a good start, the way the guys played at the top was excellent. Partnership between Munsey and McMullen was brilliant, great to see Brandon get a score today. [NRR] Wanted to get into a position to win the game, then when we got there we thought we'd target the short side. We'll enjoy this moment."
Aqib Ilyas | Oman Skipper
"The thing is that is was a good toss to win, but we couldn't utilize. We could have scored 170 runs, you can't do this usually. We have to score more runs in the batting, our batters played a lot of dot balls. We dropped too many catches, anyone who gets a life, that's how it affects you know. We have quality players but it's about handling the pressure. We had to back our players. We have to stay positive, everyone is upset after this game. If you compete against England you end on a good note."
