Day 3 ended with Marnus Labuschagne's wicket. One may have questioned if it was right to declare after Virat Kohli's century. But the Indian captain proved his decision right by striking twice in just 4.2 overs of play. He dismissed the opener batter Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne to get India in the front seat. Australia are three wickets down and still need 522 runs to win this match. Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kohli completed their tons which helped India set a big target of 534 runs for Australia.

The weather in Perth on Monday morning is pleasant, with strong winds. Visibility is clear, and the air quality is excellent. The temperature is around 24 degrees Celsius, with a sunny but cooler morning. There should be no weather disruptions, allowing play on Day 4 to continue without any issues.

Virat Kohli talked in the huddle as Steven Smith and Usman Khawaja came out to bat on Day 4. Jasprit Bumrah will finish his over and Smith will take the strike. He started with a no-ball. There was some appeal from the players but Rishabh Pant denied for DRS. Smith got off-the-mark with a confident cover drive.

Mohammed Siraj came to bowl the next over and he got rid of the opener batter Usman Khawaja. Siraj kept his length tight and Khawaja tried to go for a shot but got an edge. The ball went in the air and Rishabh Pant took a fine catch to dismiss the Australian opener. Travis Head is the new batter at the crease.

The debutant Harshit Rana was introduced into the attack after 10 overs. He started off with a maiden over bowled against Steven Smith. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah have created a huge pressure for the Australian batters and they need to find a way to score some runs from here.

Jasprit Bumrah rested from the bowling when Harshit Rana replaced him from the attack. He started with a maiden over then went on to hit Steven Smith on his ribs in the next over. Smith went down on the ground. A few Indian players came and advised him to take deep breaths. He got up after a few minutes. The crowd cheered for him.

Harshit Rana almost got Steven Smith LBW out when he hit his pads straight in front of the wickets. The umpire denied the appeal. Virat Kohli and keeper Rishabh Pant from behind also denied, but Jasprit Bumrah took the DRS in the last second. The replay showed the ball missing down leg and Smith survived.

Travis Head has started playing shots and he is making it look easy to bat on the fourth-day wicket in Perth. He smashed Rana for a four over the point to start his over. But Rana responded with a 'Smell The Leather' delivery but he barely survived as the ball landed in a no man's land. Rana overstepped the next delivery. A total of nine runs came from Rana's sixth over.

Mohammed Siraj has delivered again. He dismissed the struggling Steven Smith who was looking to set his eyes on the pitch. Smith edged the ball which was at the fourth stump and Rishabh Pant took a diving catch on his right side. Mitchell Marsh is the newest batter at the crease.

Playing his 50th Test match, Travis Head has once again managed to find a way to score against India. When his other teammates looked struggling, he scored amassed fifty runs in no time. He played an upper cut which went for a boundary to complete his half-century. He reached the milestone in 62 balls. Rohit Sharma can be seen sitting in the Indian dressing room. He arrived in Australia yesterday.

The first session ended as India managed to get two important wickets of Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith. Travis Head showed some positive intent and raced to a quick fifty. Mitchell Marsh is still finding his way to score runs. Australia made 92 runs in the first session. They are still trailing by 430 runs. India need only five more wickets to win this match.

Welcome back after the Lunch break as Harshit Rana started with the first over. Earlier, Rohit Sharma was seen batting in the nets with the pink ball. Travis Head and Mitch Marsh are looking good at the moment. Marsh smashed a big six over mid-wicket to collect nine runs from the over.

Washington Sundar came to bowl the next over and he came down the ground and smoked another six. The Aussie batters have started changing gears.

Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl the 39th over ahead of the fourth seamer Nitish Kumar Reddy and broke the stubborn partnership of Travis Head and Mitch Marsh. He bowled a bouncer which went for a boundary over Travis' 'head'. He kept the next ball straight and it took an edge and went directly into Rishabh Pant's gloves.

Ivory Coast men's national cricket team has added their name in the history books of cricket for an unwanted record. They were bowled out for just seven runs against Nigeria in an ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier Group C game on Sunday in Lagos.

Batting first, Nigeria made 271 runs and bowled out Ivory Coast for the lowest total in men's T20I format. They won the match by 264 runs which is the third highest margin in T20Is.

Nitish Kumar Reddy took his maiden Test wicket when he bowled Mitchell Marsh in the 44th over of the second innings. Marsh was trying to play a shot but got an inside edge and the ball went directly to the wickets. India need three more wickets to win the match.

Washington Sundar had two balls left from his over before the tea break and he started from there. Nathan Lyon, the new batter, missed the last delivery of the over completely and got bowled out. Lyon departed without scoring any run as India take another wicket. Now, they need just one more wicket to win the match.

He bowled Alex Carey on the fourth delivery of the 59th over as India won the match by 295 runs. The Jasprit Bumrah-led India take a 1-0 lead in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series Down Under.

Fairly disappointing. We thought our prep leading into it was good. Everyone was firing. It's just one of those games.. not much went right. It is what it is. After a loss you want to get back on the horse pretty quickly. But we'll take a couple of days rest and get into Adelaide. We didn't give ourselves a chance - a few different facets. Late on Day 1, if we had got through that period, things would've been different on Day 2. There's a lot of experience there (in the batting). This summer it's a sample size of one. There will be plenty of conversations, plenty of time in the nets. Conversations around what we could've done differently.

Very happy with the beginning. Were put under pressure in the first innings, but the way we responded after that - very proud. Played here in 2018. I remember that when you start here, the wicket is a little soft and then it gets quicker and quicker. Was relying on that experience. This wicket was a little less spicy than the last one. We were really well prepared so I was telling everyone to have faith in their process and ability. On a given day, experience does matter, but if you have faith you can do something special. Can't ask for anything else. Jaiswal has had a great start to his Test career. This was his best Test innings probably. He left the ball - he has an attacking nature, but he left the ball well and played well. About Virat - I didn't see him out of form at all. On challenging wickets it's hard to judge if a batsman is in form. He was looking good in the nets. Always enjoy the support (from the crowd).
