A bomb exploded in a school in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Saturday, according to reports.

The school was in session when a bomb exploded on the terrace of the school. No casualties have so far been reported.
The Titagarh Free High School was in sesssion on Saturday when a bomb exploded on its terrace, reported Free Press Journal, adding that no injuries have so far been reported.?
The school is located naer Barrackpore city. The police reached the site and began an investigation.
"No injuries reported. Probe underway. CCTV footage to be checked...Will call forensic teams if required," ANI quoted Aashish Mourya, DC Central Zone Barrackpore as saying.
The Bharatiya Janata Partya (BJP) lashed out at Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) government accused it of lawlessness and inaction over such blasts.?
"There have been several bomb blasts in this area before, but the police never played a positive role. The miscreants are gaining courage due to the Mamata government's dishonesty. Children are no longer safe at school," said BJP National Vice President Dilip Ghosh on Twitter.
ETV Bharat?reported that a few people were reported to have hurled the bombs at the school, adding the explosion damaged parts of the roof.?
Prabhat Khabhar?reported that it is being investigated whether the bomb that exploded in the school?was thrown at the school or whether it was already kept in the school when it exploded.?
Barrackpore MP Arjun Singh visited the school and said whoever was responsible for the blast would have to be arrested and punished.
"Had any child been around the spot, I shudder to think what could have happened. I have urged the commissioner of police and other top officials of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate to find out the culprits," said Singh, as per PTI. Singh returned to the TMC from the BJP last May.
