Bradley Cooper is back on the screen with Maestro portraying the world of music and a lifelong love story. The biographical film is directed by Cooper who also stars in the titular role of legendary American composer, conductor, pianist, music educator, author, and humanitarian Leonard Bernstein. The film revolves around the relationship between Bernstein, and his wife Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan. Cooper co-wrote the screenplay with Josh Singer and the film is produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Cooper, among others.

The trailer, which dropped today, offers an intriguing glimpse into what promises to be a cinematic masterpiece transcending eras. A Netflix film, Maestro will have a limited theatrical release on November 22, before it is made live on the streaming platform on December 20. In fact, the film’s New York Film Festival premiere will be held at David Geffen Hall, where Leonard Bernstein conducted for over a decade.
