The parting meanders between us—?
An untamed river in oil colours, ?
It reeks of turpentine memories
minced in a butcher’s shop nearby.?
The weekend hangs like nausea
on a hot summer noon~
Poem: The Raga Of The Rains
'The weekend hangs like nausea on a hot summer noon' - The author delves into the heaviness of being alone.
Dark clouds call ?
like a raven from an empty room ?
Alone!
I wait like a fallen angel
Making perfect paper boats,
Swiping the Meghaduta verses
in loud silence of the raindrops, ?
Desiring your return
in the trail of my tears—
The raga of the rains, all night
