World Theatre Day: ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti’, ‘Typecaste’, ‘Shadyantra’, ‘Gunhegaar’, ‘Chanda Hai Tu’ – Acclaimed Teleplays To Binge Watch

Akarsh Khurana directs this humorous and hilarious teleplay, which stars Prajakta Koli, Shikha Talsania, Chaitanya Sharma, Akash Khurana, Adhaar Khurana, and Gopal Datt. It narrates the narrative of a young couple, Lakshman and Priya, who are unable to marry until Pallavi, Priya's headstrong elder sister, agrees to marry. Lakshman then devises a strategy and even locates a suitable husband for Pallavi. When his disapproving father discovers his lie, things become complicated quickly. Will Pallavi ultimately fall in love? And will Lakshman and Priya ever get hitched? Well, that's what the play is all about.

'Typecaste' is a Hindi adaption of Vijay Tendulkar's famous Marathi drama 'Pahije Jatiche', starring Shreyas Talpade as Mahipat Babruvahan, a Dalit who becomes the first in his caste and hamlet to get an M.A. degree. However, his cast interferes with his profession, and he is sacked and transferred to another college as a lecturer. However, he once again meets prejudice and must cope with not only varied career hurdles but also troubles in his personal life. The teleplay, directed by Sourabh Shrivastava, also features Atul Mathur, Aaditi Pohankar, and Utkarsh Mazumdar.

A mysterious death, a murder, a tortured heiress, and several suspicions. That is the astonishing plot of Ganesh Yadav's nail-biting suspense thriller, 'Shadyantra.' Hina Khan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Kunaal Roy Kapur, and Shruti Bapna play major parts in the narrative, which revolves around a broken marriage that leads to a crime. Natasha Malhotra Tiwari is one half of the pair, and she inherited a construction firm. She is not interested in running the firm, but events compel her to confront a terrifying truth. When a terrible murder irrevocably alters her life, investigative police officer Mohan Khanna arrives to investigate the mystery and assist her.

This psychological thriller directed by Akarsh Khurana examines themes of crime, innocence, and revenge. The drama begins when Mr Bansal, a mystery guy, invites investigative journalist Mrinalini to his house under the guise of delivering her a scoop. When she arrives, she notices peculiar features of his demeanor and concludes that there is more to him than meets the eye. She is soon joined by another invitee, who happens to be a cop, and Bansal's perilous scheme gradually unfolds. An old terrible secret is unearthed, and both visitors find themselves in the dock for a previous error. The cast includes Gajraj Rao, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Sumeet Vyas.

This drama, written by acclaimed Marathi playwright Jaywant Dalvi and filmed by the late Nishikant Kamat, explores the pleasures and tribulations of fatherhood. The narrative follows a couple who are overwhelmed by the requirements of their physically challenged kid. They have occupations that require their whole attention, and they must prioritize their kid above anything else. Do Mr. and Mrs. Shukla's mental health suffer as they strive to juggle their numerous responsibilities? Is their love for their kid Bachu strong enough to get them through each day? Atul Parchure directs the stage production, which stars Smita Bansal, Manav Gohil, Sanjay Batra, Prasad Barve, and Atul himself.
