On December 11, Sundance Institute announced lineup of offerings at Sundance Film Festival 2025. 87 feature-length films and six episodic projects are selected for the film festival. The 41st annual Sundance Film Festival is scheduled to take place from January 23–February 2, 2025, in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. The competition films and more will be available online from January 30–February 2, 2025, for audiences across the country.

Sabar Bonda aka Cactus Pears will compete in the Sundance Film Festival’s World Cinema Dramatic Competition this year.
Indian film Sabar Bonda aka Cactus Pears has been selected officially for the Sundance Film Festival 2025. The film will compete this year in the Sundance Film Festival’s World Cinema Dramatic Competition. Directed by Rohan Parashuram Kanawade, it is the only Indian feature film and 1st first-ever Marathi film to get selected at the festival, a milestone achievement for the industry.
This year the festival will have offerings from filmmakers all across the globe including Justin Lin, Barry Levinson, Ira Sachs, and Questlove.
U.S. Dramatic titles that are part of the fest are- Rashad Frett’s Ricky, and Atropia among others. In the Premieres section, there will be Bill Condon’s adaptation of the musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, All That’s Left of You, April & Amanda, Amy Berg’s doc about the life and career of musician Jeff Buckley and more.
