As per reports in Variety and Rolling Stone, on Thursday evening, during a Zoom meeting, Jimmy told 'Tonight Show' staff, “It’s embarrassing and I feel so bad. Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends. I feel so bad I can’t even tell you."
“I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive for everybody, it should be funny, it should be the best show, the best people,” he told the staffers.?
For the unversed, on Thursday, Rolling Stone published allegations from two current and 14 former employees, including production crew and writers against Jimmy Fallon. They requested anonymity out of fear of retaliation. The portal claimed they had also approached an additional 80 current and former employees, but “not a single one agreed to speak on the record or had positive things to say about working on the Tonight Show”.
As per the report, multiple sources?alleged that Jimmy?had a history of “outbursts” and lashing out at staff when under pressure and?guests’ dressing rooms were commonly known as “cry rooms”, where employees could go and vent out their stress.
