Pushpa 2 earned Rs 141.5 crore net in India on its first Sunday, December 8. While the Hindi version collected Rs 85 crore, the Telugu version minted Rs 44 crore in India. In Tamil Nadu, Pushpa 2 raked in Rs 9.5 crore, as per a report in Sacnilk.
The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 is performing much better than the original Telugu version. In fact, it became the first Hindi film to earn over Rs 80 crore in India on Sunday.
The Hindi version earned Rs 285.7 crore in four days.
The Malayalam and Kannada versions of Pushpa 2 collected Rs 1.9 crore and 1.1 crore in India on the same day, respectively. The four-day collection of Pushpa 2 now stands at Rs 529.45 crore.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his X handle to share that Pushpa 2 has crossed Rs 800 crore gross at the box office worldwide in its opening weekend.
It is expected to earn Rs 1,000 crore before it completes a week in theatres.
Apart from Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 also stars Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, Rao Ramesh and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles.
